Zan Celar

Zan Celar is a 27-year-old striker currently on loan at Fortuna Düsseldorf. Standing at 186 cm and weighing 82 kg, he possesses a strong physical presence that allows him to hold off defenders and create space in attacking positions. With a right-footed preference, he looks to leverage his strength and height to be a target in the box, although his current season statistics indicate he has faced challenges in finding the back of the net consistently, with just one goal in 19 appearances. In the ongoing 2025/2026 season, Celar has averaged a rating of 6.56 over 590 minutes on the pitch. This suggests he contributes to the team's play, but his impact in terms of scoring and overall performance may need to be more pronounced to elevate his standing. His experience with clubs like Roma and Lugano reflects a journey through various competitive environments, yet he is still in search of a breakthrough season that could solidify his role as a key striker. Celar's current role involves not just goal-scoring but also facilitating play and supporting his teammates in attack. As he continues to adapt to the demands of Fortuna Düsseldorf, his ability to harness his physical attributes and improve his scoring rate will be crucial for both his development and the team's success this season.
