Simeon Shishkov

Simeon Shishkov is a young central defender currently playing for Ludogorets. At just 19 years old, he is beginning to make his mark in the first team, having made 8 appearances in the current season. His average rating of 6.40 suggests that he is still finding his footing at this level, but he demonstrates a solid foundation for a player in his position. Shishkov prefers using his left foot, which allows him to effectively play on the left side of central defense. His current role involves providing stability and support to the backline, where he can utilize his defensive skills to read the game and intercept opposing attacks. With 344 minutes of playtime this season, he is gaining valuable experience that will aid in his development as a player. As he continues to develop within the Ludogorets setup, Shishkov has the potential to grow into a more impactful defender. His contract extending until June 2028 indicates that the club sees promise in his abilities, and with further playing time, he may soon establish a more prominent role in the team's defensive strategy.
