Ryan Leijten

Ryan Leijten is a 22-year-old central attacking midfielder known for his right-footed play. Standing at 189 cm, he combines physical presence with technical ability, making him a versatile option in the attacking third. Currently playing for Roda JC Kerkrade, he has logged 168 minutes across seven appearances in the 2025/2026 season, averaging a rating of 6.45. This indicates a developing presence in the midfield, where he is still finding his rhythm. In his role, Leijten is expected to create scoring opportunities and link up play between the midfield and attack. His height gives him an advantage in aerial duels, while his technical skills allow him to maneuver through tight defenses. As he gains more experience, he has the potential to increase his impact on games, contributing both assists and goals. Having joined Roda JC Kerkrade from FC Den Bosch in 2024, he is looking to establish himself further in the squad. With a contract running until June 2027, Leijten has the opportunity to develop his game and become a more influential figure in the team's attacking strategies as he matures in his career.
