Pablo Lacoste

Pablo Lacoste serves as a central defender for Albion, where he brings a wealth of experience to the backline at the age of 38. Standing at 188 cm and weighing 82 kg, his physical presence allows him to effectively challenge opposing forwards and dominate aerial duels. With a career spanning several clubs and leagues, he has developed a robust understanding of defensive responsibilities, positioning, and game management. In the current season, Lacoste has made 9 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.21 over 538 minutes of play. While these statistics suggest he may not be at the peak of his performance, they reflect his ability to contribute to the team as a steady presence in defense. His experience is invaluable, particularly in a leadership role on the pitch, guiding younger teammates and maintaining organization in the backline. Lacoste's playstyle emphasizes reliability and tactical awareness, which is crucial for a central defender. He focuses on making smart decisions under pressure and supporting his teammates, ensuring the defensive unit remains cohesive. As he continues his contract with Albion until December 2026, his role will likely remain centered around providing stability and mentoring within the squad.
