Oscar Romero

Oscar Romero is a central midfielder who currently plays for 2 de Mayo. At 27 years old, he brings a level of experience to the team, having participated in 23 matches this season, where he has accumulated 1,335 minutes on the pitch. His average rating of 6.53 suggests he plays a steady role in the midfield, contributing to both defensive duties and ball distribution. In his current role, Romero likely acts as a link between defense and attack, helping to maintain possession and facilitate transitions. His experience in the midfield may also allow him to read the game well, making him a valuable asset in controlling the tempo and flow of play. While he may not be posting standout statistics, his consistent presence on the field indicates his importance to the team's structure and strategy. Having joined 2 de Mayo from Sportivo Ameliano in 2025, Romero appears to be settling into his role and contributing to the squad's performance. As he continues to develop in this environment, his contributions will be integral to the team's ambitions in the league.
