Niklas Tarnat plays as a central defensive midfielder for Sandhausen, where he contributes to the team's defensive stability and midfield control. Standing at 179 cm and weighing 74 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence that allows him to contest aerial duels and engage opponents effectively. His right foot is preferred, enabling him to distribute passes with precision, although the current season shows room for improvement in his overall performance.
