Moritz Broschinski

Moritz Broschinski is a 25-year-old striker currently playing for Basel. Standing at 190 cm and weighing 78 kg, he possesses a notable physical presence on the field, which he uses to his advantage in aerial duels and hold-up play. With a right-footed preference, he is adept at positioning himself to capitalize on scoring opportunities, although his current season stats reflect a need for improvement in finishing, as he has netted only 3 goals in 27 appearances. In the ongoing 2025/2026 season, Broschinski has accumulated an average rating of 6.56 over 995 minutes of play. This suggests he contributes to the team beyond just goals, offering a blend of physicality and work rate that can be valuable in offensive setups. His ability to press defenders and create space for teammates may not always translate into direct goal contributions, but it remains an important aspect of his role. Having transitioned from VfL Bochum to Basel in 2025, Broschinski is likely adjusting to the demands of a new club environment while aiming to find his rhythm in front of goal. His contract with Basel runs until June 2029, indicating the club's belief in his potential to develop further and contribute more significantly in future seasons.
