Matheus Saldanha

Matheus Saldanha operates as a striker for Al Sharjah, where he currently plays on loan. Standing at 185 cm and weighing 78 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence that allows him to compete effectively in aerial duels and hold off defenders. Despite his stature, Saldanha's contributions this season have been modest, with only 1 goal and 2 assists across 24 appearances, suggesting he is still finding his rhythm in the attacking line. Saldanha's average rating of 6.62 indicates he has had a mixed impact on matches, showcasing some potential while also facing challenges in consistently influencing the scoreline. His preferred left foot may lend him an advantage when shooting or delivering crosses, yet the limited goal tally points to a need for improvement in finishing and making decisive movements in the box. In the current season, Saldanha has accumulated 1170 minutes on the pitch, reflecting the trust his coaching staff places in him to contribute to the team's offensive play. As he continues to adapt to his role in Al Sharjah, Saldanha will be looking to convert more opportunities and elevate his performance to help his team achieve better results.
