Mahamat Thiam

Mahamat Thiam operates as a central defensive midfielder for Stade Tunisien in the Tunisia Ligue Professionelle 1. Standing at 190 cm and weighing 80 kg, he possesses a strong physical presence that aids him in breaking up opposition play and providing defensive cover for his team. His right foot is his preferred weapon, allowing him to distribute the ball effectively after regaining possession. In the current season, Thiam has made nine appearances, accumulating an average rating of 6.32 over 650 minutes of play. This suggests he is still finding his rhythm within the squad, as he adjusts to the demands of the league and contributes to the team's overall performance. His role as a central defensive midfielder is crucial, often tasked with shielding the backline and initiating counter-attacks with his passing ability. Thiam's experience across different clubs, including stints in Switzerland and earlier in his career, has likely contributed to his understanding of the game. As he continues to develop at Stade Tunisien, his physical attributes and tactical awareness position him as an important player in the midfield, where he can help dictate the pace and structure of play for his team.
