Konstantin Schopp

Konstantin Schopp is a young central defender currently on loan at Hartberg. Standing at 195 cm and weighing 90 kg, he possesses a significant physical presence on the pitch, which is beneficial for his role in defense. His right-footed playstyle allows him to effectively tackle and intercept passes, although his current season statistics reflect a cautious approach, with only one tackle and one interception across 14 appearances. This season, Schopp has averaged a rating of 6.24 over 975 minutes of play, indicating he is still in the process of finding his rhythm in a competitive environment. While he has contributed with one key pass, his overall impact in terms of goals and assists is yet to be established, suggesting he is primarily focused on his defensive duties at this stage of his career. Having moved from FSV Mainz 05 to Hartberg on loan, Schopp is likely seeking valuable first-team experience to develop his skills further. His journey through the youth ranks of Sturm Graz and subsequent transfers show a trajectory towards establishing himself as a reliable defender. Currently, he is in a formative stage, learning the intricacies of senior football.
