Jorge Obregón

Jorge Obregón serves as a striker for Rionegro Águilas in the Colombia Liga DIMAYOR I, where he showcases his physical presence at 182 cm and 80 kg. In the current season, he has made 21 appearances, contributing 1 goal and averaging a rating of 6.63 over 1116 minutes on the pitch. His preferred right foot allows him to be a consistent threat in attacking positions, although he has faced challenges in finding the back of the net regularly this season. While his goal tally may not reflect an explosive offensive output, Obregón's role likely extends beyond mere scoring. Strikers often engage in holding up play, creating space for teammates, and contributing to overall team dynamics. His experience in various leagues, including notable stints in Europe and Asia, suggests a player capable of adapting to different styles of play, which could be beneficial for Rionegro Águilas. With a contract extending until June 2026, Obregón remains a key figure for his club. As he continues to integrate into the team's strategies, his contributions may evolve, leading to a more impactful presence in the final third as the season progresses.
