Germán Barrios

Germán Barrios plays as a central midfielder for Defensor Sporting, where he has made a significant number of appearances this season. At 22 years old, he stands at 182 cm tall and weighs 73 kg, providing a solid physical presence in the midfield. His right foot is his preferred foot, suggesting a natural inclination towards right-sided plays, passes, and strikes. In the current 2025/2026 season, Barrios has recorded 24 appearances, accumulating 1927 minutes of playtime. His average rating of 6.46 indicates a steady, if not standout, performance level. This suggests he contributes reliably to the team's midfield dynamics but may not yet be among the standout performers in his position. Barrios' role in the team likely involves linking defense and attack, providing support to both the backline and forward players. His experience at a young age in a competitive environment suggests he is developing his game and adapting to the demands of professional football. As he continues to gain experience, he has the potential to refine his skills further and become a more influential player in the midfield.
