Ashish Jha

Ashish Jha plays as a left winger for Bengaluru, leveraging his height of 182 cm to add a physical presence on the flanks. At 26 years old, he combines experience with the agility often sought in wide players. His preferred right foot allows him to deliver crosses and cut inside to create goal-scoring opportunities, although his contributions this season suggest he is still finding his rhythm within the team's dynamics. In the current 2025/2026 season, Jha has made seven appearances, contributing one assist while averaging a rating of 6.61 over 230 minutes of play. This indicates a player who is gradually becoming more involved in matches, showcasing potential for growth as he settles into his role. While he may not yet be a consistent game-changer, his ability to provide width and support in attack is valuable for Bengaluru. Jha's recent transfer history reflects a trajectory of development within the Indian football system, moving from various clubs before establishing himself at Bengaluru. His ongoing contract until May 2026 suggests that the club sees potential in his abilities, and with time, he may continue to enhance his impact on the pitch.
