Yoane Wissa

Yoane Wissa currently plays as a striker for Newcastle United, where he utilizes his 176 cm stature and 75 kg frame to navigate opposing defenses. His preferred right foot allows him to strike effectively in front of goal, contributing to his overall play. This season, Wissa has made 22 appearances, netting 3 goals and providing 1 assist, showcasing his ability to contribute to the attacking front. His average rating of 6.57 indicates a consistent presence on the pitch, though there is room for improvement in his overall impact. Wissa's playing style includes making key passes, with 4 recorded this season, which highlights his vision and ability to support teammates in attacking situations. He also shows defensive awareness, having made 1 interception and 1 tackle during his appearances, indicating a willingness to contribute defensively when needed. However, with only a handful of goals and assists this season, he may need to step up his scoring to fully leverage his potential in a competitive squad. Having transitioned from Brentford to Newcastle United in a substantial transfer, Wissa is expected to acclimatize to his new environment and assert his role within the team. As the season progresses, he aims to enhance his contributions and solidify his place in the starting lineup.
