Welliton

Welliton currently plays as a right winger for Fortaleza, where he has made 27 appearances in the 2025/2026 season. At 180 cm tall, he combines a decent physical presence with a right-footed attacking style. Despite a modest return of 2 goals this season, he contributes to his team's attacking play, averaging a rating of 6.62. This suggests he has moments of impact, although consistency may still be an area for improvement. His journey through various loan spells highlights a player who is still establishing himself in the professional ranks. Welliton has experience in different environments, having transitioned between clubs like Goiás and Primavera SP before his current loan at Fortaleza. This could indicate adaptability, as he adjusts to new systems and teammates. In his role on the wing, he likely focuses on utilizing his speed and dribbling ability to create opportunities, both for himself and his teammates. While his goal tally may not be high, his involvement in the game and ability to stretch defenses are essential facets of his contribution to the squad. Overall, Welliton is a developing player who is working to make a significant impact in his current season.
