Vitão

Vitão is a central defender standing at an impressive 194 cm, which provides him a significant aerial advantage and physical presence in the defensive third. Currently playing for Cuiabá, he has made 8 appearances this season, contributing a total of 674 minutes on the pitch. His height and reach make him an asset in set-piece situations, both defensively and offensively. With a right-footed preference, he displays a solid understanding of positioning and timing, allowing him to effectively challenge opposing forwards. His experience from previous stints at Chadormalu SC and Ituano, both through transfers and loans, has likely contributed to his development and adaptability in different playing styles and systems. Vitão's role primarily involves organizing the defense and ensuring solidity at the back. His ability to read the game and make crucial interceptions helps to mitigate threats from the opposition, while his physicality can intimidate attackers. As he continues to gain more minutes in the current season, he aims to solidify his place in the starting lineup and contribute to Cuiabá’s defensive stability.
