Vernon de Marco

Vernon de Marco plays as a central defender for Panserraikos, bringing experience and a solid presence to the backline. At 186 cm tall, he possesses a commanding aerial ability, making him a formidable opponent during set pieces. His left-footedness allows him to distribute the ball effectively from the back, although his current season average rating of 6.48 suggests that he is still finding his best form. In the ongoing 2025/2026 season, he has made 21 appearances and scored once, contributing to his team's defensive efforts while also showing a willingness to join the attack when opportunities arise. With over 1800 minutes played, de Marco demonstrates reliability and stamina, essential traits for a central defender, especially in the demanding landscape of competitive football. Having joined from Apollon Limassol, he is now under contract until June 2027, indicating the club's commitment to his role. As he continues to adapt to his new environment, de Marco's experience will be crucial in guiding younger players and maintaining defensive organization within the team.
