Tom Barkhuizen

Tom Barkhuizen operates primarily as a right winger for Barrow, where he is known for his agility and ability to stretch defenses. Standing at 175 cm and weighing 70 kg, he combines a compact physical presence with quick bursts of speed that allow him to take on defenders effectively. With a preference for his right foot, he is adept at delivering crosses and cutting inside to create goal-scoring opportunities. In the current season, Barkhuizen has made 34 appearances, contributing 3 assists to his team. His average rating of 6.69 suggests he has been a steady presence on the pitch, consistently contributing to the team's play without being a standout performer. Over the course of 2153 minutes, he has shown resilience and durability, vital traits for a winger who often engages in one-on-one situations. While he may not be racking up prolific goal contributions, Barkhuizen's role is integral to Barrow's attacking dynamics. His experience, coupled with his work rate, makes him a reliable option on the flank, capable of supporting both defense and attack as needed. As he continues his contract until June 2027, he remains a key player in the squad, providing depth and versatility on the wing.
