Tanguy Ndombélé

Tanguy Ndombélé currently plays as a central midfielder for Nice, where he showcases a versatile and dynamic playing style. Standing at 181 cm and weighing 76 kg, he combines physical presence with technical skill. Ndombélé is predominantly right-footed, which allows him to deliver precise passes and contribute effectively in the midfield battle. This season, he has made 20 appearances, registering 1 assist and creating 6 key passes, which highlights his ability to contribute to attacking plays despite a modest average rating of 6.61. Defensively, Ndombélé has made 5 interceptions and 1 tackle this season, indicating that while he can disrupt opposition plays, his primary strength lies in orchestrating the game from midfield rather than in defensive duties. His current form suggests he is still adapting to his role at Nice after transferring from Tottenham Hotspur, where he spent time on loan before making a permanent move. As he approaches the latter stages of his contract, set to expire in June 2026, Ndombélé's performance will be crucial as he seeks to solidify his position within the squad and contribute significantly to the team's success.
