Sung-gwon Cho

Sung-gwon Cho plays as a central defender for Daejeon Citizen, where he has been a consistent presence in the backline this season. Standing at 182 cm tall and weighing 70 kg, he possesses a solid physical profile that aids his defensive capabilities. In the current season, he has made 23 appearances, contributing one goal and one assist, demonstrating that he can also support attacking plays when necessary. His average rating of 6.30 suggests that he is a reliable performer, though there may be areas for improvement to elevate his game further. Cho has accumulated nearly 1,900 minutes on the pitch this season, indicating his importance to the team and the trust the coaching staff places in him. His right-footed play style allows him to effectively engage in challenges and distribute the ball from the back. Having transitioned from Gwangju to Daejeon Citizen in 2026, Cho continues to develop as a player. His experience from previous loan spells, including time at Gimpo FC, has likely contributed to his understanding of the game. As he approaches the latter part of his contract, he has the potential to solidify his role as a key defender in the squad.
