Santiago Gauna

Santiago Gauna operates as a central defensive midfielder for Almirante Brown, where he plays a crucial role in the team's midfield structure. At 168 cm, his stature is on the shorter side for a midfielder, yet he compensates with a robust weight of 73 kg, allowing him to hold his ground in physical encounters. His right foot is his preferred option, which he utilizes to distribute the ball effectively and contribute to both defensive duties and offensive transitions. In the current season, Gauna has made seven appearances, contributing one goal to his team's efforts. His average rating of 6.43 suggests that while he has moments of influence on the pitch, there is room for improvement in his overall performance. Gauna's role is primarily focused on breaking up opposition play and providing a shield for the defense. He brings a tenacious approach in the midfield, which is vital for maintaining possession and setting the tone for attacking opportunities. As he continues to gain experience, he has the opportunity to enhance his impact on the game and develop further as a central figure in Almirante Brown's midfield.
