Sander Berge

Sander Berge serves as a central defensive midfielder for Fulham, where his imposing physical presence at 195 cm and 88 kg allows him to dominate the midfield. With a current average rating of 6.80 across 43 appearances in the 2025/2026 season, he demonstrates a reliable performance, contributing to the team's stability in the middle of the park. While his primary role is defensive, his ability to assist in build-up play is reflected in his one recorded assist this season. Berge's height gives him an advantage in aerial duels, making him a significant asset during set-pieces and defensive situations. He uses his right foot effectively, allowing for precise passing and distribution from deep positions. His experience across several leagues, including stints in Belgium and England, has equipped him with a diverse skill set that enhances his ability to read the game and intercept opposition attacks. As he continues his contract with Fulham until June 2029, Berge is expected to play a crucial role in the team's midfield, providing both defensive cover and the ability to transition play forward. His combination of size, experience, and tactical awareness makes him a key figure in Fulham's strategy as they navigate competitive fixtures.
