Sambou Soumano

Sambou Soumano serves as a striker for Lorient, showcasing his skills in the front line. At 182 cm and 69 kg, he has a lean but athletic build that allows him to maneuver effectively on the pitch. His preferred right foot aids him in finishing opportunities, and while he has scored 4 goals this season, he has also contributed with 2 assists, demonstrating his ability to create chances for teammates. In the current season, Soumano has made 29 appearances, accumulating an average rating of 6.67 over 1055 minutes of play. His involvement in the game is highlighted by 11 key passes, indicating his role as more than just a goal-scorer. However, the single tackle and 4 interceptions suggest that he is less focused on defensive duties, which is typical for a forward. Soumano's recent transfer history indicates a period of development through loan spells, where he has gained valuable experience. Currently contracted with Lorient until June 2026, he is looking to solidify his place in the squad and continue his growth as a player.
