Sam Foley

Sam Foley serves as a central midfielder for Barrow, bringing valuable experience to the team as a seasoned player at 39 years old. He stands at 183 cm and weighs 74 kg, which contributes to his physical presence on the pitch. His preferred right foot allows him to dictate play effectively, although his average rating of 6.46 over 8 appearances in the current season suggests he is still finding his rhythm. In the 2025/2026 season, Foley has accumulated 285 minutes of playtime, indicating that he remains a part of the squad's rotation despite his age. His role is likely focused on providing stability in the midfield, utilizing his experience to help control the tempo of the game and support both defensive and attacking phases. While his performance metrics may not reflect peak physicality, Foley's understanding of the game and tactical awareness are essential for a player in his position. As he approaches the latter stages of his career, his contributions will be vital in mentoring younger teammates and maintaining a competitive edge for Barrow.
