Rúben Neves

Rúben Neves serves as a vital anchor in the midfield for Al Hilal, showcasing his skills as a central defensive midfielder. At 180 cm and 80 kg, he combines physical presence with technical proficiency, allowing him to excel in breaking up opposition play while also contributing offensively. His current season statistics highlight his impressive versatility, having made 39 appearances, scored 10 goals, and provided 9 assists, all while maintaining an average rating of 7.71 over 3068 minutes of play. Neves' ability to read the game is reflected in his positioning and interception skills, making him a reliable defensive shield in front of the backline. His right-footed strikes and passing range enable him to initiate attacks, transitioning quickly from defense to offense. This dual threat makes him a key player for Al Hilal, as he balances between maintaining defensive solidity and providing creative support to the forward line. As a member of the Portuguese national team, Neves continues to demonstrate his quality on a larger stage, contributing both in domestic competitions and international fixtures. With a contract running until June 2026, he is poised to play a significant role in his club's ambitions in the Saudi Professional League.
