Rúben Alves

Rúben Alves operates as a central attacking midfielder, where he showcases his playmaking abilities and creativity on the pitch. Standing at 168 cm and weighing 61 kg, he may not possess towering physical attributes, but he compensates with agility and an eye for key passes. In the current season, he has made 24 appearances, contributing 2 assists and earning an average rating of 6.55, indicating a solid presence in his team's attacking maneuvers. At Penafiel, Alves often takes on the role of a facilitator, linking up with forwards and providing support in the final third. His right foot is his preferred weapon, allowing him to deliver accurate crosses and through balls to unlock opposing defenses. Although his assist tally may not be high, his involvement in build-up play is crucial for the team's offensive dynamics. With a contract running until June 2026, Alves is expected to continue developing his influence at Penafiel. His recent transfer history shows a steady progression, and he has adapted to the demands of his current club. As he continues to refine his skills, he remains a valuable asset in the midfield, contributing to the team's overall performance.
