Ruben Aguilar

Ruben Aguilar operates as a right back for Lens, bringing a balanced mix of defensive acumen and attacking support to the team. Standing at 172 cm and weighing 70 kg, he combines agility with a solid physical presence. His preferred right foot allows him to make effective overlapping runs and deliver key passes into the attacking third, evident in his current season where he has recorded 21 key passes alongside 2 assists. In the 2025/2026 season, Aguilar has made 24 appearances, scoring twice and contributing to his team's offensive play. His average rating of 6.95 indicates consistent performances, while his defensive contributions include 8 tackles and 26 interceptions, showcasing his ability to disrupt opposition attacks effectively. With a contract running until June 2028, he is well-positioned to continue making an impact for Lens in the coming seasons.
