Pedro Barcelos

Pedro Barcelos is a central defender who currently plays for Academico Viseu. Standing at 188 cm and weighing 80 kg, he possesses the physical presence typical of a solid defensive player. With a preferred left foot, he demonstrates a capability to play the ball effectively from the back, contributing to both defensive stability and the build-up play. In the current season, Barcelos has made 17 appearances, accumulating an average rating of 6.32 over 786 minutes of play. While these statistics suggest he is a reliable member of the squad, his contributions may not always be reflected in standout performances. He plays a key role in organizing the defense and is likely tasked with winning aerial duels and breaking up opposition attacks. Barcelos's experience, gained from previous spells at various clubs, underpins his performance at Academico Viseu. He continues to fulfill his role as a central defender, providing essential support to his teammates while maintaining the physicality and tactical awareness necessary for his position. With his contract running until June 2027, he is poised to continue his journey at the club, contributing to their defensive efforts.
