Ousseynou Niang

Ousseynou Niang is a left midfielder currently showcasing his skills at Union Saint-Gilloise in the Belgian league. Standing at 168 cm, he possesses a low center of gravity, which can be advantageous for maintaining balance and agility on the pitch. His preferred right foot allows him to deliver quality crosses and cut inside, making him a versatile threat in attacking situations. In the current 2025/2026 season, Niang has made 10 appearances, accumulating 554 minutes of playing time with an average rating of 6.50. While these numbers indicate he is still working to find his best form, they reflect his ongoing contributions to the team. His ability to stretch defenses and create space is crucial, particularly in a league that values technical play and strategic positioning. Having joined Union Saint-Gilloise from Riga FC, Niang is under contract until June 2028, suggesting that the club sees potential in his development. As he continues to adapt to his role, he is likely to become an integral part of the squad, bringing energy and creativity to the left flank.
