Omar El Sawy

Omar El Sawy operates primarily as a right winger, showcasing his skills in the attacking third. At just 22 years old, he is beginning to carve out his niche at Universitatea Cluj, where he is currently on loan from Rapid Bucuresti. In the ongoing season, he has made 21 appearances, contributing one goal and two assists. His average rating of 6.73 indicates a steady, if not standout, performance, suggesting that he plays a role more focused on supporting the attack rather than being the primary goal scorer. With a preference for his right foot, El Sawy utilizes his pace and dribbling ability to stretch defenses and create opportunities for himself and his teammates. Across his time on the pitch, totaling 1,154 minutes this season, he demonstrates a willingness to get involved in offensive plays, although his output in terms of goals and assists points to areas for further development. His loan spells reflect a trajectory aimed at gaining valuable experience, which might contribute to his growth as a player. While not yet a dominant force in the league, El Sawy’s contributions as a right winger are essential for Universitatea Cluj's attacking dynamics. As he continues to develop, he has the potential to increase his impact on matches and become a more influential player in the coming seasons.
