Mykola Shaparenko

Mykola Shaparenko operates primarily as a central midfielder for Dynamo Kyiv, where he has become an integral part of the team's midfield dynamics. Standing at 178 cm and weighing 72 kg, he possesses a balanced frame that aids in his agility and dribbling capabilities. Shaparenko's left foot is a notable asset, particularly in his ability to execute key passes and switch the direction of play effectively. His average rating of 6.66 this season reflects his consistent contributions over 22 appearances, where he has scored two goals and provided four assists. His strengths lie in his passing and positioning, allowing him to control the tempo of matches and create opportunities for his teammates. Shaparenko's ability to dribble past defenders adds an extra layer to his game, making him a valuable asset in transitional moments. However, he does show some limitations in versatility and heading ability, which can sometimes restrict his effectiveness in certain match situations. Despite being at 27 years of age, Shaparenko's experience is still developing, suggesting that he is in a phase where he is honing his skills and understanding of the game. As he continues to mature, his current role in midfield is likely to evolve, making him a player to watch in the coming seasons.
