Murillo

Murillo plays as a central defender for Nottingham Forest, where he has quickly established himself as a key figure in the backline. At 180 cm and 75 kg, he combines agility with solid physical presence, making him effective in one-on-one duels and aerial challenges. His preferred left foot allows him to play the ball out from the back with precision, while also facilitating his ability to contribute to the team's buildup play. In the current season, he has made 39 appearances, scoring two goals and averaging a rating of 6.88. His contributions extend beyond defense, as evidenced by his 17 key passes and 36 interceptions, showcasing his awareness and ability to read the game. Although his tackle count stands at 11, it reflects a player who prioritizes positioning and interception over aggressive tackling, a trait that aligns with modern defending strategies. Having joined Nottingham Forest from Corinthians for €12.0 million in 2023, Murillo's performance suggests a bright future with the club. Currently under contract until June 2029, he is well-positioned to continue his development in a competitive environment.
