Mohamed Abdelmonem

Mohamed Abdelmonem operates as a central defender for Nice in Ligue 1. Standing at 183 cm and favoring his right foot, he possesses a solid physical presence on the pitch. His role primarily involves organizing the defense and providing stability, although his current season has seen limited action with only one appearance and three minutes played thus far. Though his playing time this season is minimal, Abdelmonem's previous experience in the Egyptian league with Al Ahly and Modern Sport FC has likely equipped him with valuable defensive skills. His transfer to Nice in 2024 for €4.2 million indicates that the club sees potential in his abilities to contribute at a higher level. While he hasn't yet showcased his capabilities consistently in the current season, his contract running until June 2028 provides him with an opportunity to establish himself within the squad. As he gains more playing time, he will aim to leverage his physical attributes and defensive acumen to solidify his role in the team.
