Mateus Pivô

Mateus Pivô serves as a right back for Brusque, bringing a solid presence to the defensive line. Standing at 185 cm and weighing 70 kg, he combines physicality with agility, allowing him to effectively challenge opposing attackers. His right-footed playing style lends itself well to traditional defensive duties, as well as contributing to the team's build-up play from the back. In the current season, he has made 11 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.56 over 921 minutes of play. This suggests that he is a reliable option for the team, maintaining a consistent presence on the pitch. While his average rating indicates room for improvement, it also reflects his ability to fulfill his role effectively within the squad. Pivô's career has seen him transition between clubs, with notable movements between Sampaio Corrêa and Brusque. This pattern emphasizes his adaptability and the trust that clubs have placed in his abilities. As he continues his contract until June 2026, his experience and skills are expected to play a crucial role in Brusque's defensive strategy moving forward.
