Marcelo Carné

Marcelo Carné serves as a seasoned goalkeeper, bringing valuable experience to his current club, which is yet to be determined. At 36 years old, he stands tall at 188 cm and weighs 83 kg, utilizing his physical presence to command the penalty area effectively. With an average rating of 6.61 over six appearances in the current season, his performance reflects a steady, if unspectacular, contribution to the team's defensive unit. In his recent outings, Carné has accumulated 540 minutes on the pitch, showcasing his ability to maintain focus and poise in goal. His experience in various teams, including stints in Portugal and Brazil, has likely equipped him with the knowledge to handle diverse styles of play. As a goalkeeper, he plays a crucial role in organizing the defense and making key saves, attributes that become increasingly valuable as a player ages and transitions into leadership on the field. While his current season statistics indicate a moderate impact, his presence in the squad likely provides stability and mentorship to younger players. As he continues his contract until November 2026, Carné's role may evolve, emphasizing guidance while still contributing as an important member of the team.
