Marc García

Marc García serves as a left back for Lleida Esportiu, bringing a wealth of experience to the position at 38 years old. Standing at 174 cm, he utilizes his preferred left foot to effectively contribute to both defensive duties and overlapping runs down the flank. Although his current season statistics indicate limited playtime with five appearances and an average rating of 6.25, he remains a reliable presence on the pitch. In his role, García focuses on defensive stability, positioning himself to thwart opposing attacks while also supporting his teammates in buildup play. His experience allows him to read the game well, providing tactical awareness that can be crucial in tight match situations. While he may not have the pace of younger players, his decision-making and positioning compensate, making him a valuable asset for Lleida Esportiu. As he approaches the latter stages of his career, García's role is likely to evolve into that of a mentor for younger players, sharing his knowledge and understanding of the game. His contract until June 2026 indicates the club's confidence in his leadership and ability to positively influence the squad both on and off the field.
