Luca Kerber

Luca Kerber plays as a central midfielder for Heidenheim, where he utilizes his physical attributes, standing at 184 cm and weighing 77 kg, to influence the game from the middle of the pitch. He is right-footed, allowing him to deliver precise passes and maintain control under pressure. His current role involves key responsibilities in both offensive and defensive phases, evidenced by his two key passes and two interceptions this season. In the 2025/2026 season, Kerber has made 21 appearances, accumulating an average rating of 6.46 over 570 minutes of play. While he may not yet be a standout in terms of statistical output, his consistent presence in the squad indicates a reliable player who contributes to the team's overall dynamics. His ability to break up play and facilitate transitions is crucial for Heidenheim's midfield structure. Having joined Heidenheim from Saarbrücken in 2024, Kerber is under contract until June 2027, suggesting that the club sees long-term potential in his development. As he continues to gain experience at the professional level, his contributions will be vital for both his growth and the team's success.
