Leonardo Jara

Leonardo Jara serves as a right back for Almirante Brown, where he continues to apply his experience at the age of 34. Standing at 184 cm and weighing 79 kg, he combines physical presence with the agility needed for his role on the flank. His preferred right foot allows him to effectively contribute both defensively and offensively, although his current season average rating of 6.47 across 8 appearances suggests room for improvement in his overall performance. With 394 minutes played this season, Jara's contributions have been steady, but not particularly standout. His experience in various leagues, including stints at Boca Juniors and DC United, has undoubtedly shaped his playing style, allowing him to read the game and position himself effectively. Despite the challenges that come with being a veteran player, he brings valuable leadership and tactical awareness to the team. As he approaches the latter stages of his career, Jara's role may evolve into that of a mentor for younger players, offering guidance on the nuances of the game while still aiming to make impactful contributions on the pitch. His contract until December 2026 indicates that Almirante Brown values his presence and experience as they look to navigate their season.
