Leo Hjelde

Leo Hjelde is a 22-year-old left back currently on loan at Sheffield United, where he has made seven appearances in the ongoing season. Standing at 190 cm and weighing 75 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence on the pitch, which aids his defensive capabilities. His left-footedness allows him to deliver accurate crosses and contribute effectively to the attacking play down the left flank. In the current season, Hjelde has averaged a rating of 6.63 across his limited playing time of 141 minutes. While this suggests he is still finding his form and establishing himself within the squad, his experience in various teams, including stints at Leeds United and Rotherham United, indicates he is adapting to different styles of play. Hjelde's role primarily focuses on defensive responsibilities, where his height can be advantageous in aerial duels. As he continues to gain experience in the Championship, he has the potential to become a more influential figure in both defensive and offensive phases of play. The loan at Sheffield United could provide him with the opportunity to further develop his skills and prove his value as a reliable left back.
