Kévin Keben

Kévin Keben operates as a central defender for Watford, showcasing a strong physical presence at 187 cm and 86 kg. His right-footed play allows him to effectively defend against opposing forwards while also contributing to build-up play. Despite his primary role in defense, he has displayed the ability to make key passes, evident from his five assists this season, indicating a willingness to support offensive transitions. In the current 2025/2026 season, Keben has made 32 appearances, accumulating an average rating of 6.57 over 2178 minutes on the pitch. His defensive contributions include 24 interceptions and 8 tackles, which highlight his capability in disrupting opponent plays and maintaining control in the defensive third. While he has yet to score this season, his role appears to be more focused on defensive solidity and playmaking from the back rather than goal-scoring. Keben's development has been noteworthy since his transfer from Toulouse, where he progressed through the youth ranks before joining Watford in 2024 for €1.0M. With a contract that extends until June 2028, he is positioned to continue his growth within the squad, contributing to both defensive stability and occasional offensive support.
