Kengo Kitazume

Kengo Kitazume operates primarily as a right back for Shimizu S-Pulse, bringing experience and stability to the defensive line. At 33 years old, he stands at 177 cm and weighs 71 kg, which provides him with a balanced physical presence on the pitch. His right foot is his preferred option, allowing him to deliver effective crosses and contribute to offensive plays from the flank when opportunities arise. In the current season, Kitazume has made six appearances, accumulating 125 minutes on the field with an average rating of 6.44. While these statistics suggest he is still finding his rhythm in the ongoing campaign, his consistent presence reflects his role as a reliable option in the squad. He has transitioned from Kashiwa Reysol to Shimizu S-Pulse in 2023, adding to his wealth of experience gained from previous spells at various clubs. His playing style emphasizes defensive discipline, as he is tasked with providing cover for the backline while also supporting the attack when possible. Kitazume's prior experience in different teams has likely enhanced his tactical awareness, enabling him to adapt to the demands of his current club's playing philosophy.
