Juan Barrera

Juan Barrera plays as a central attacking midfielder for Managua, where he utilizes his experience and technical skills to influence the game. At 36 years old, he stands at 175 cm and weighs 71 kg, making him a balanced presence in the midfield. His preferred right foot allows him to deliver precise passes and create opportunities for his teammates. In the current 2025/2026 season, Barrera has made 7 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.48 over 511 minutes of play. While these statistics suggest a steady contribution, they also indicate that he may be adapting to a role that emphasizes experience over explosive performance. His experience from previous clubs and international play with Nicaragua adds depth to his understanding of the game, allowing him to orchestrate plays effectively. Barrera's role is crucial in linking the midfield with the attack, as he looks to exploit defensive weaknesses and provide assists. His ability to read the game and make quick decisions can help set the tempo for his team, particularly in tight matches. As he continues his contract until January 2009, his leadership and knowledge will be valuable assets to Managua as they navigate their campaign.
