Joshua Zirkzee

Joshua Zirkzee plays as a striker for Manchester United, where he stands tall at 193 cm and weighs 84 kg, making him a physically imposing presence in the attacking third. His right foot is his preferred choice for finishing, and he combines his size with a keen ability to hold off defenders, contributing to his role as a target man. This season, he has made 27 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 1 assist, showcasing his potential to contribute to the team's offensive play, though his average rating of 6.72 indicates room for improvement. In terms of his playing style, Zirkzee demonstrates a solid understanding of positioning, as evidenced by his 11 key passes this season, highlighting his capability to link up play and create opportunities for teammates. While he has only registered 1 tackle and 1 interception, this aligns with his primary role as an attacking player rather than a defensive contributor. Zirkzee's transfer history reflects a journey through prominent clubs, with a significant move from Bologna to Manchester United for €42.5M in 2024. As he continues to develop at a prestigious club, he has the opportunity to refine his skills and become a more integral part of the team's attacking strategy.
