Joseph Ceesay

Joseph Ceesay plays as a right midfielder for Empoli. At 184 cm tall and weighing 69 kg, he possesses a solid physical presence on the pitch, which aids him in both offensive and defensive duties. His preferred right foot allows him to deliver accurate crosses and cut inside, adding versatility to his attacking style. In the current season, Ceesay has made 11 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.26 over 526 minutes of play. These statistics suggest that while he is a regular contributor to the team, his impact has been moderate, indicating areas where he can improve. His experience from previous loan spells, including time at Cesena and Norrköping, has likely provided him with valuable playing time and exposure to different competitive environments, helping him develop his skills. Ceesay's current role at Empoli involves providing width and support in the attack, while also tracking back to assist in defensive responsibilities. As he continues to adapt to the demands of his position, he has the potential to become a more influential player for his club. With his contract running until June 2027, there is an opportunity for him to further establish himself in the squad.
