Jonny Smith

Jonny Smith plays as a right winger, showcasing his skills at Gillingham on loan from Wigan Athletic. At 28 years old, he stands at 178 cm and weighs 64 kg, utilizing his left foot to maneuver down the flank. His current season statistics indicate a role focused on contributing to the attacking dynamics of the team, with 11 appearances and 1 goal to his name. With an average rating of 6.64 over 422 minutes this season, Smith's performance reflects a solid, yet not standout, contribution to the squad. His ability to stretch defenses and create opportunities is crucial for a winger, and while the goal tally may not be high, he likely plays a role in providing width and supporting the attacking players. Smith's journey through various clubs has shaped his experience, and he brings a measured approach to his position. As he continues his loan at Gillingham, he has the opportunity to further develop his game while aiming to impact the team's performance in the league. His preferred left foot allows him to cut inside effectively, making him a versatile threat on the right side of the pitch.
