Jonathan Panzo

Jonathan Panzo is a central defender currently showcasing his skills at Birmingham City. Standing at 188 cm, he possesses a solid physical presence on the pitch, which aids him in aerial duels and defensive battles. At 25 years old, he brings a blend of youth and experience, having accumulated 24 appearances so far this season with an average rating of 6.56 across 1661 minutes of play, indicating a consistent, if not standout, level of performance. His left-footedness allows him to distribute the ball effectively from the back, contributing to Birmingham City's build-up play. While he may not be an offensive threat, his primary role focuses on defensive solidity and organization. Panzo's ability to read the game and make critical interventions makes him an integral part of the defensive unit, helping to maintain stability at the back. Having transitioned through various clubs, including a stint in Portugal with Rio Ave, he has adapted to different styles of play. This adaptability, coupled with his physical attributes, positions him well to continue developing as a reliable defender in the Championship. With a contract until June 2026, Panzo has the opportunity to further establish himself within the squad and contribute to the team's ambitions.
