Jonathan dos Santos

Jonathan dos Santos operates primarily as a central defensive midfielder for América, where he demonstrates a strong understanding of the game through his tactical awareness and positioning. At 36 years old, he brings a wealth of experience to the team, which is evident in his ability to maintain an average rating of 6.98 over 23 appearances in the current season. His role is pivotal in providing stability in the midfield, allowing for better ball distribution and support for both defensive and attacking phases. Despite his relatively modest goal contribution with 2 assists, dos Santos's impact goes beyond mere statistics. His 1177 minutes on the pitch highlight his importance to the squad, showcasing his durability and commitment to the team's success. With a right-footed preference, he is adept at making key passes and intercepting opposition plays, which aids in transitioning the ball effectively from defense to attack. His stature at 172 cm and weight of 68 kg does not hinder his ability to compete physically in midfield battles. Instead, he leverages his agility and intelligence to outmaneuver opponents. As a seasoned player, dos Santos continues to adapt his style, making him a reliable figure for América as they navigate the challenges of the league.
