John Victor

John Victor serves as the goalkeeper for Nottingham Forest, bringing a commanding presence to the backline at 197 cm and 91 kg. His imposing stature allows him to effectively cover the goal and dominate aerial duels, while his right foot is reliable for distribution. This season, he has made 36 appearances, averaging a rating of 6.70 over 2024 minutes of play, indicating a consistent, if not spectacular, performance level. With only one interception recorded, his primary focus remains on shot-stopping and managing the defensive unit rather than initiating play from the back. In the current campaign, Victor's role has been crucial for Nottingham Forest, as he has faced a variety of shots and situations. While the average rating suggests there is room for improvement, it reflects a solid foundation in his game. His previous transfers, including a notable move from Botafogo to Nottingham Forest for €8 million in 2025, highlight the trust placed in him by his current club. Overall, Victor is a reliable goalkeeper who provides stability to the team, though he may look to enhance his influence in matches as he continues to adapt to the demands of the Premier League.
