Jhoanner Chávez

Jhoanner Chávez is currently making his mark as a left back at Sparta Praha, where he is on loan from Lens. At 182 cm and 77 kg, he possesses a solid physical profile that enables him to contend effectively in defensive situations. His preferred left foot allows him to deliver precise crosses and engage in overlapping runs, contributing to both defensive stability and offensive support from the backline. In the current season (2025/2026), Chávez has featured in five matches, accumulating an average rating of 6.47 over 163 minutes of play. While these statistics suggest he is still finding his rhythm, his involvement in the squad indicates that he is being counted on to provide depth and versatility in the defensive unit. Chávez's career has seen him transition through several clubs, with a notable move from Bahia to Lens for €4.5M in 2024. His loan spells, including a stint at Bahia and now at Sparta Praha, illustrate a pathway of development as he seeks to establish himself in European football. As he continues to adapt to the demands of the Czech league, Chávez's performances will be crucial for his growth and future opportunities.
