Jesús Pretell

Jesús Pretell serves as a central defensive midfielder for LDU Quito, where he utilizes his tactical awareness and physicality to contribute defensively. Standing at 172 cm and weighing 72 kg, he combines a compact frame with strong positioning, allowing him to disrupt opposition attacks effectively. His right foot is his preferred choice, and he often plays a crucial role in breaking up play and providing cover for the backline. In the current season, Pretell has made six appearances, averaging a rating of 6.70 over 295 minutes of play. While his contributions might not always make headlines, he exemplifies the reliability needed in a defensive midfield role. He focuses on maintaining possession and distributing the ball to more offensive players, showcasing his ability to transition between defense and attack. His experience, gained through various loan spells and transfers within the Peruvian league, has helped him develop a keen understanding of the game. Now at LDU Quito, Pretell continues to refine his craft, contributing to the team's overall stability and defensive structure. Although not the flashiest player on the pitch, he plays a pivotal role in ensuring the team's balance and effectiveness in both defensive and midfield phases.
